The Distance from Me to You

The Distance from Me to You review ☆ 3 read & download Ñ eBook or Kindle ePUB ✓ Marina Gessner Wild  meets   Endless Love  in this multilayered story of love survival and self discoveryMcKenna Berney is a lucky girl She has a loving family and has been accepted to college for the fall But McKenna has a different goal in mind much to the chagrin of her parents she defers her college acceptance to hike the App. This was cute and alright but not my favorite contemporary mostly because it ended with the characters making STUPID MISTAKESI feel like the main character grew but at the same time she didn t Like I was TOLD how she grew but didn t feel a ton of that from her actual character arcThe romance was cute and this was a really interesting backdrop for a story hiking the Appalachian trail but it definitely didn t make me want to do that All in all an alright but forgettable contemporary The Twelve Links romance was cute and this was a The Case Of The Missing Necklace really interesting backdrop for a story hiking the Appalachian trail but it definitely didn t make me want to do that All in all an alright but forgettable contemporary

The Distance from Me to You review ☆ 3 read & download Ñ eBook or Kindle ePUB ✓ Marina Gessner Least temporarilyDespite lives headed in opposite directions McKenna and Sam fall in love on an emotionally charged journey of dizzying highs and devastating lows When their punch drunk love leads them off the trail McKenna has to persevere in a way she never thought possible to beat the odds or risk both their lives. I loved this Not your typical YA contemporary and involves a strong female protagonist This book was amazingMarina Gessner is a pen name for Nina de Gramont I ve never read any of her other work but after reading this I will not hesitate to pick any up This is a YA contemporary romance about a girl McKenna who hikes the Appalachian Trail from Maine to Georgia McKenna s supposed to go hiking with her best friend before heading off to University but last minute her best friend backs out but that does stop McKenna She decides she will hike Appalachian Trail alone She s not alone for long though McKenna meets a boy Sam who s also hiking by himself and they find themselves bumping into each other for a whileThis isn t your typical YA contemporary romance As much as it has all the components of YA romance it also incorporates very realistic situation struggles and outcomes And I believe that s great for young readers it s great to find amazing stories about realistic situation in this case realistic young romance Not every situation in life will be easy and things won t always turn out the way we want them too but that doesn t always mean it s not a happy ending I highly recommend this book Mckenna s adventure is worth readingAnother reason I really enjoyed this book is because we follow a strong female protagonist McKenna is brave and strong and wants to prove everyone she can thru hike by herself She wants to prove to every single person she s encountered and has judged her and doesn t believe she can make it to the end of the trail just because she s a young women There are times McKenna s judgement lapse or when she doesn t speak up when she should but no one s perfect It makes her character realisticAt first the writing style caught me off guard it s written in third person which isn t odd but it caught me of gaurd I guess I just expected this to be written in first person However I really enjoyed how the author wrote this book it s very descriptive and I could picture everything very clearly from the character to the atmopshere and the setting of the book I could easily connect to the characters because of all the character description I highly recommend this to readers who enjoy YA contemporary romance books about adventure hiking nature and camping Majority of this book takes place on Appalachian Trail so I recommend this to readers interesting in this topic I loved this
